The hotel is adjacent to Cardiff’s main park (Bute Park) and approx. half a mile from the National Sports Centre (Welsh Institute of Sport) and the SWALEC Stadium (new cricket ground). The hotel is close to Cardiff’s main shopping centre and all facilities including the Millennium Stadium,Cardiff Castle, Cardiff Museum, St. Davids Hall and Cardiff International Arena which are all within a short walk.
By Car:
- Leave the M4 at Junction 32 and head for the city centre.
- Stay on ‘North Road’, over the flyover and continue on this road until you pass Cardiff Castle (on the right hand side).
- Keep driving over the bridge and at the traffic lights turn right onto ‘Cathedral Road’.
- Cathedral House (No.146) is located approximately 800m down this road on the right hand side.
Alternatively:
- Leave the M4 at Junction 29 and follow A48 M (Eastern Avenue).
- Stay on the A48 M under the flyover and through the traffic lights (with Tesco Extra on the left hand side).
- At the next set of traffic lights, take first left onto ‘Mill Lane’ (sign posted City Centre/Llantrisant A4119). Stay in the left hand lane and keep following signs for the city centre.
- Turn left at the next set of traffic lights onto ‘Cardiff Road’.You will pass Howells School (on the right hand side) and when you reach the next set of traffic lights turn left onto ‘Penhill Road’ which leads naturally into Cathderal Road’.
- You will pass a set of shops (on the right hand side) and Cathedral House is located approximately 150m from the shops on the left hand side.
By Bus:
- From the City Centre Cathedral House is serviced by bus numbers: 25, 61. There are regular bus stops along Cathedral Road.
By Taxi:
- Ask for Cathedral House located on Cathedral Road (No. 146). A taxi to/from the city centre will cost around £4.00.
